A Saltwater Queen is confident, strong, intelligent, ambitious & driven. A compassionate soul with sound core values that have lead her to have a passion for affecting positive change in her community. From the smallest acts of kindness to volunteering and fundraising for community or charitable organisations.

The Saltwater Queen, Saltwater Charity Queen and Saltwater Peoples choice contenders will be role models within their community, committed to bettering the lives of those around them as well as their own. Ladies who lead by example rather than following the pack. During the competition the contenders will raise funds for their chosen charity and in doing so increase awareness for a cause that is close to their hearts.

The winners will have the opportunity to represent Saltwater Country Inc. as ambassadors for Rhythm & Ride Rodeo, Campdraft and Country Music Showcase and Saltwater Country Inc., as well as the other community programs and partners Saltwater Country Inc. develop in the future. In doing so the winners will also be ambassadors for Broome and the Kimberley at large, showing the rest of the country what Saltwater women have to offer.

Applications are scheduled to open in 2018 and applicants will be shortlisted to meet Saltwater Country Inc. representatives. 5 finalists will be selected to compete in the inaugural competition and for the titles of Saltwater Queen, Saltwater Charity Queen and Peoples choice. There will be a variety of opportunities and prizes for the successful individuals.
